Failover Server

The ARCA appliance can be configured to function as a failover server in a matter of minutes. This reduces business downtime in the event of an issue with the business's primary server. Backups continue on the virtual server after a server is failed over. This way you continue to have the latest changes to your environment when restoring to your primary server. The virtual server can also be used as a test environment or to test your disaster recovery processes.

Backup and Recovery

With the appliance, file and database recovery is simple, speedy and reliable. The ARCA appliance takes 15 minute snapshots of each server and removes the tedious motions of restoring data from a tape system. ARCA also provides added protection against corrupted open files or databases through a block-level backup process. ARCA utilises industry leading StorageCraft software.

Bare Metal Restore

Bare Metal Restore gives you the ability to restore to a virtual server or dissimilar hardware configuration in the event of a recovery after a downtime event.

ARCA replication

ARCA replication software enables the automated delivery of a backup image file to a remote ARCA or a remote ARCA Vault. The ARCA also enables a machine to synchronise with an externally connected USB device or network share to add more redundancy to your backup and recovery processes. This also provides users with an offsite backup option for their business.

Mailbox and Message level Recovery

Email has become an essential business tool. With this in mind the ARCA appliance provides the tools to restore Exchange mailbox and messages fast! With short recovery time and frequent recovery points, ARCA will be there to assist you in the retrieval of a message or an entire mailbox.

Centralized Management Console

The ARCA centralized management console brings together all of the tools and components within the device to help you manage your backup and recovery processes. The console is easy to use and allows the configuration alerts and reports, the setup of backup agents, the administration of backups and restores and the configuration of the fail-over servers.
